Nestled in vibrant SW Waterfront, Amidon-Bowen is home to 350 students (pre-k-5th grade.) Amidon-Bowen strives to create a safe and nurturing environment that focuses on a well rounded education for each student.

April 30, 2021 – Secretary of Education, Miguel Cardona, concluded his “Help is Here” school reopening tour at Amidon-Bowen.

September 19, 2019 – First Lady, Melania Trump, and 4th grade students cut the ribbon to re-open the Washington Monument.

2019 – The Amidon-Bowen Choir, directed by music teacher Para Perry, kicked off Phase 2 of Wharf development!

2017 – The Washington Nationals surprise 3rd graders at Amidon-Bowen with playoff tickets!
